The State of Ohio\u2019s Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity (EDGE) programs establishes an annual procurement goal for state agencies, boards, and commissions in awarding contracts to certified MBE and EDGE businesses. The MBE program is designed to assist minority businesses in obtaining state government contracts for goods and services, excluding construction. While the EDGE program assists socially and economically disadvantaged businesses in obtaining state government contracts for goods and services, including construction, architecture, and engineering. <\/p>\n
